How the grader works.
Is it really free?
Yes. No signup, no card. You see every result on the page. If you want a person to review your site as well, you can ask for that at the end, and that's free too.
What does the grader actually check?
It downloads your homepage's code, then checks your title, headline, structured data, booking and phone links, email links, and footer. It tests every link on your homepage (up to 50), reads your sitemap and robots.txt, samples your other pages for duplicate titles, and checks that both the www and non-www versions of your address load.
Why does it say it couldn't check something?
The grader reads your site's code. Some things, like certain booking widgets, are added by JavaScript after the page loads, so they don't appear in the code. Rather than marking those against you, the grader says it couldn't check them. They don't count towards your score.
What doesn't it check?
Speed, design, photos, and how persuasive your copy is. Those need a person. That's what the free human review at the end is for.
Do you keep my results?
We store the score for your web address so repeat checks within a few hours load instantly without hitting your site again. We don't add you to any list, and we only contact you if you ask us to.
